The first job I started doing when I got to the site was installing allthread from the interstitial floor down into the rooms. Like many jobs I've started since I joined the union it was the first time I'd done this and of course at the time I had little idea why.
The allthreads come down and of course are secured in the interstitial and then braced using adjustable aluminum braces.
The ceiling grids weren't there the day I started. It hadn't dawned on me to use my phone camera the first week I was there so these pictures were taken around the second week I was on the job.
Finally, the purpose of the allthreads is to hold this track. A lift, I'll show later, lifts the patient off their bed and moves them into the bathroom. This track is rated to hold and move 600 lbs.
